**KASHMIR VALLEY**

Kashmir Valley, nestled in the heart of Asia, 
is surrounded by India, Pakistan, China, and 
Afghanistan. Throughout the world, Kashmir 
is renowned for its breathtaking natural beauty 
often referred to as the Switzerland of Asia.

The valley is embraced by majestic mountains and is 
famous for its hill stations, gardens, rivers, lakes, and 
numerous tourist attractions.

- *Dal Lake*: Located in the heart of Srinagar, the capital, 
it is surrounded by the Zabarwan mountain range. The lake 
is renowned for its houseboats and shikara services, 
providing livelihoods for the local people.
 
- *Mughal Gardens*: Nishat and Shalimar Gardens, 
situated on the banks of Dal Lake, are just 8 miles 
away from Srinagar.

- *Gulmarg*: A famous tourist hill station in the Kashmir valley.

- *Other Tourist Spots*: Sonamarg, Pahalgam, Doodpathri, 
Veernaag, Kokernaag, Bangus Valley, etc.

- *Wular Lake*: The largest freshwater lake in Asia, 
contributing significantly to Kashmir's picturesque landscape.
